Albert Francis Drexler

Albert Drexler, age 86, of Adrian, Michigan passed away June 5, 2023 at his home. Albert was born August 12, 1936 in Deerfield to William and Rose (Hoorman) Drexler.
Albert proudly served his country in the United States Army, and fought in the Korean War.
Albert was an avid hunter, and loved watching his pond and the birds, and feeding the birds in winter. He made maple syrup and grew his own garden. He also enjoyed beer and spending his time outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Drexler; sister, Sr. Rita Drexler; grandchildren, Desiree Holcomb, Dustin Terry, Melinda Streidl, Matthew Drexler, Brandi Drexler, Brandon Drexler, and Brianna Drexler; and his 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kathy; his sisters, Florence and Vera; and his brothers, Jim, Carl, and Don.
A funeral service for Albert Drexler will be held at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Adrian, Michigan at 12:00 p.m. A visitation will be held that same day from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
