Albert Higgins Obituary
February 26, 1989 - September 5, 2024
Antlers - Albert "Grant" Higgins, Jr passed away on September 5, 2024 in Oklahoma. He was born on February 26, 1989. He was a beautiful, blue eyed, 11lb., 10oz. baby. He grew up and lived most of his life in Santa Clarita, California. He was a great athlete. He raced BMX from 7 to 12 years old on the national level. Grant was a 2 time California State champion football player at Canyon High School in 2005 and 2006.
He was a journeyman air conditioning mechanic and could fix anything. He loved vacationing at the Colorado River and building jet boats, as well as camping and riding the sand dunes of Glamis. He is survived by many loving family members including his parents, Albert Sr. and Deborah Higgins, daughter Mackynzie Higgins, brother Travis Higgins, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

I have many wonderful memories with my cousin Granny, but a few that stand out are when my Uncle Grant taught me how to ride a bike while Granny cheered me on! Spending summers at my GG and Papa's house with all my cousins was always a blast. We would take turns telling spooky stories. I don´t remember who told the tale about the spiders, but when I started to cry, Granny reassured me that it was just a story and that there were no real spiders. That didn´t stop GG from coming out and telling us to knock it off!
My first time riding a quad was also with Granny, and we shared our first sip of leftover beer in my Uncle Grant´s garage together at 5 years old!

Debby and Grant, it has always been clear how much you love your boys. My deepest condolences on the devastating loss of your beloved son Grant Jr. I hope the many happy memories you´ve shared will bring you comfort in your time of despair.
