The book of life was opened for Albert J. Hurst on February 10, 1947, to the late Albert Jackson and Annie Pearl Hurst in Gifford, FL. Known to everyone as "Bill," he was the oldest of fourteen children. He received his education from the public schools of Indian River County. In his adult
life, to support himself and his family, he held jobs as a Mental Health Tech, Security Guard, and as a Carpenter. He really had a passion for carpentry and was very skilled in it. Bill was well known in his community. He loved going out and ministering to the people he came in contact
with.

It was on October 23, 2025, that the book of life was closed for Albert J. Hurst. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Pearl Hurst and Albert Jackson; daughter, Sumon Plain; siblings, Robert Banks, Leon Byrd, Janet Sharon Banks, Gwendolyn Davis, Jeanette Woolfork; aunt,
Claudia Woolfork; niece, Chycrisa Banks.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his devoted wife: Marlene Hadden; daughters: Tawana Jackson, Diane Crumpton, Darlene Hadden; sons: Stacy King, Patrick Rawlins, David Hadden; sisters: Lisa Mason, Doris Lindenemuth, Pamela Crouch, Donna Achamorfaw, Deloris Shields;
brothers: Terry Banks (Mary Ann), Billy Banks, Ronald Banks, Fred Manson, Jr.; sister-in-law: Ongerlon Simmons; son-in-law: Billy Hones; grandchildren: Keira Mosely (Antonio), Jasmine Sheppard, Tianna Denmark, Antjuane Jackson; great grandchildren: Kamari Jackson, Nylah
Jackson, Amir Jackson, Cameron Walker, Nyomi Jackson, Akari Mosley, Ameia Mosley; best friends: Patricia Wooden and Rosa Plain; and a host of other family members and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
