Reverend Julius Reed was a man of integrity, loyalty, and unwavering faith - a man who truly loved the Lord. He was born on October 18, 1942, in Nicholls, Georgia, to Johnson Reed and Mamie Armstrong. From his earliest days, Julius carried a quiet strength and a generous heart that reflected his deep love for God and for people.

He loved being a husband and a father - it was his greatest earthly joy. On August 22, 1975, he was united in holy matrimony to Sandra Reed, his loving wife and lifelong partner in faith. Together, they shared 50 years of marriage, a bond built on love, devotion, and an unshakeable
trust in God. Their union was a true testament to commitment and grace - a love that endured through every season.

Reverend Reed was the proud father of eight beautiful children: Velvet Reynolds, Julius Reed Jr. (Yvonne), Angela Gaines (Saul G.), Mattie Reed, Virginia Anderson, Thomas Anderson (Tajana), Ava McBride (Will M.), and Latanya Reed (Mike C). He was blessed with a growing
legacy of 18 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

His greatest accomplishment was becoming a man of God. He became a dedicated member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church, joining on May 28, 1974, where he served faithfully for many years. Reverend Reed began as a transportation driver, ensuring that church members could attend worship. With
his gifted hands and willing heart, he also served as the church mechanic, always ready to help wherever he was needed. His devotion and humility led him to serve as a Deacon, then a Minister, and eventually, to be ordained as a Reverend - a calling he carried with great honor
and purpose.

Beyond the pulpit, Reverend Reed found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved to fish, to laugh, and to share stories that reminded others of God's goodness. His life was a living testimony of faith, service, and love - a true example of what it means to walk with the
Lord.

Though he has transitioned from this earthly life, the light of Reverend Julius Reed continues to shine through the hearts and lives of all who knew him. His legacy of faith, family, and steadfast love will live on for generations to come.
