Happy birthday Al ! You're greatly missed during any of our get together and other events.
Laughter was always present, and mostly what I remember.
Rest in peace my friend.

I had the pleasure of often driving Al to medical appointments. We’d listen to music; Our favorite song was “Free Falling” by Tom Petty. But just about any familiar oldies song would get us singing. I think he had what musicians call “relative pitch” because he could sing songs out of the blue in the key of the original song. He’d start singing a song and I’d go on YouTube and sure enough he was singing in the right key.
We had fun
Gonna miss you, Al. Wherever you are I hope the Syrian cuisine is spectacular

There were so many times when sitting in a room together, we'd all start snickering and laughing for what seemed like hours and none of us knowing what exactly we were laughing about !
