Albert O. Langlais, Jr., fondly known by all as Al, passed away on December 3, 2024, after a life enthusiastically lived and lovingly remembered. Born on July 30, 1962, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Al was the cherished son of the late Jeanne and Albert O. Langlais, Sr.
Al graduated from Somerset High School in Somerset, MA, and embarked on a fulfilling career in retail management, dedicating five years to Dollar General and a significant 26 years to B.J.'s Wholesale Club. Known for his leadership and perseverance, Al had the admiration and respect of his colleagues.
In his personal life, Al was regarded as a beacon of love and humor. His warm heart made him the devoted fiancé to Suzan Thompson, fostering a 15 year commitment filled with joy and companionship. Al was a pillar of strength for his family, serving as a caring brother to Susan J. Willen and her husband Tom, Janine M. Plante and her late husband Joseph, Denise A. Medeiros and her husband Steve, and the late Paul and Robert Langlais. He is remembered with love by his sister-in-law, Christine Langlais, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom treasured his playful spirit and unwavering support.
An enthusiast of life's simpler pleasures, Al was a proud pet parent to three Corgis and three cats. His fervor for sports resonated with many, as he stood loyally with the Boston Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins through every season. Al's joy was also found in cruising to various exotic locations, with the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and places in Mexico among his favorites.
Albert O. Langlais, Jr.'s legacy is that of a loving and funny individual, whose memory will be held dear by all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. His laughter and light remain a guide for friends and family who celebrate the remarkable man he was.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Al's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home -8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234, for a Visitation on Tuesday, December 10th 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8PM.
