Albert (Al) Marchetti, age 85, of Iola, died on Monday, December 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Al was born in Jeansville, Pennsylvania on May 25,1936, the son of the late Albino and Anna (Marcinko) Marchetti. He grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania, joining the Air Force after graduating from High School. Al married Patricia Barrett in 1959, they had 6 children and later divorced. While in the Air Force he served in The Azores, California, Florida, Germany, and Texas retiring after 20 years. After retirement from the Air Force, he moved to Cudahy, where he met and married Carole Kuenstler and they lived in New Berlin before moving to Iola in 2002. He worked at Zenar Corp for 24 years, retiring in 2002.
Al is survived by his wife Carole of Iola; his children: Albert Jr (Norma) of Ogden Utah, Cynthia (Tim) Olson of Waukesha, Therese Wallace of Waukesha, David (Alyssa Komer) of Madeline Island, Kevin of Racine, and Michelle (Ray) Herschleb of New Berlin. Stepchildren: Gail (Gregg) Gilmore, Milwaukee, David (Melinda) Kuenstler Big Lake Minnesota, sisters: Joan (Robert) Barkocy of Palatine Illinois) and Leona (Rodney) Coffin of Hazelton, Pennsylvania and many Grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Rose and Dorothy.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 12:00 pm at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church, in Iola with Reverend Dr. Karen Rendall, officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 am - 11:45 am at the church. Entombment of cremains will take place in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Al, to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
