Albert Warren McCoy Jr.

Albert Warren McCoy Jr., a beloved son, brother, and father, passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 45 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born on August 17, 1980, in Baton Rouge, Albert lived a life characterized by kindness and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Albert was a proud graduate of Capital Senior High School, where he demonstrated his passion for music as a member of the school band. His love for music was a reflection of his vibrant spirit and creativity, traits that endeared him to many.

From an early age, Albert embraced his faith, accepting Christ and he was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church pastored by Rev Gus Washington. His spiritual journey was a core aspect of his life, guiding him in his relationships with family and friends.

Albert is survived by his cherished daughter Makayla McCoy and his brother Gerard Tillotson, along with other relatives and friends who will forever remember his kind-hearted nature and loving presence.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on December 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM, both held at Resting Place Funeral Home, located at 7840 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
