Albert G. Phillips, age 68 of Oliver Springs, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at his home.
He was born to the late Charlie and Christine Phillips.
He was also preceded in death by his Grandparents, Fletcher and Bessie Phillips, Harrison and Juanna Kennedy; Brothers, Agbert Phillips, Charles Phillips and Danny Joe Phillips.
Albert is survived by his son, Albert Phillips, Jr. and granddaughter, Destiny Phillips.
Brothers, Don Phillips (Denia), Eugene Phillips (Ruby), Irvin, Vernal, Avery and Eddie.
Sisters, Glenna Phillips (Roy), Phyllis Richards (Jimmy), Billie Madden (Terry), Linda Kay and Shirley.
Special Nephew and Caretaker, Bradley Benham.
Special Nephew Thomas Phillips.
Special Great-Nephews, Alex Bunch to whom he would always say "friends to the end" to him, Adam Bunch and Ayden Phillips, David Bean.
Special Nieces, Angela Tallent, Eugenia Bunch and Christina Bean, Great niece Alice Bean, along with many more nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Special Friends, Roy Tinker and Speedy.
Albert was always in good spirits and could make you laugh with his funny humor. He never sugar-coated anything and told it like it was. He loved his family very much and often told them so. He enjoyed talking on the phone for hours to family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors where you could find him sitting on his porch enjoying the day and listening to his country music. He worked for Tidy Waste, Inc. for many years. He had a great talent in wood working and made many beautiful pieces. He was also a great mechanic. He was a Nascar Racing fan, his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. He loved to watch Westerns, The Andy Griffith Show,Gunsmoke, and many more.
Albert will be greatly missed by all who had a chance to be in his life. We will cherish all the great memories over the years that we all shared with him. It's not goodbye, it's just a see you on the other side. "Toodaloo", Alkie's favorite goodbye.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 beginning at 2:00 pm in Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery, Oliver Springs. Bro. Cody Sexton will officiate.
Family and friends will meet at 12:30 at Jackson Funeral Home to go in procession to cemetery.
