Albert Prince Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wesley A. Boyd Funeral Home (a.k.a Boyd Funeral Directors of Texas) on Mar. 18, 2024.
September 23, 1940, Willie Perry Prince and Flourine became the proud parents of a baby boy whom they named Albert Perry Prince, Sr in Caldwell, Texas. Upon moving to Houston, he attended public school and played football at Worthing High School. Albert confessed Christ at an early age, and he was baptized by the Late Reverend G. G. Grant at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Later years Reverend Prince became friends with Reverend Harry Fowler, Sr and Reverend Frank Maxie and started visiting Antioch Baptist Church. Soon he would become a member and during that time, he accepted his call to preach the gospel. Also, during one of his visits he spotted a young lady and declared that she would be his wife. After a brief courtship, and true enough they became husband and wife and to this union two wonderful sons were born. Reverend Prince was a businessman and was the owner of Prince Seafood on Yale, Prince of Detail Car Cleaning Service, and lastly, Prince Year-Round Yard Man. He was a very hard worker, getting things done to take care of his family. He taught his sons to be hard workers also. Reverend Prince always had a kind word and good advice for all young men in his family. Reverend Prince is proceeded in death by his parents, aunts, two sisters, four brothers, two nieces and one nephew. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Celestine Prince, two sons, Reverend Albert Perry Prince II (Akilah) and James Luther Prince; one daughter, Veronica McDaniels; two grandchildren; Royal Alexander Prince and Jasmine McDaniels; one sister Beatrice Prince, brother-n-law and sister-n-laws; one grandchild on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren other relatives and friends.
