Albert Teate Obituary

Mr. Teate was born on October 21, 1944, son of the late Emmett Alfred Teate and the late Elvie Sue McConnell Teate. He was an assembly worker having worked at Toccoa Casket Company and retired from River Sand Inc. Mr. Teate was also a member of the Ruhamah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Carnesville, GA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Buna Ivester Teate; son, David Arthur Teate; grandson, Wesley Teate; brother, Tommy Teate; and sister, Louise Teate Dorsey.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy Lee Teate and Tonya of Carnesville, GA and Anthony Dale Teate and Christy of Martin, GA; brother, Alfred Teate of Martin, GA; grandchildren, Bradley Teate, Adam Teate, Jody Teate, Savanha Teate, Kirk Teate and McConnell Teate; and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Teate and Braden Teate.
A graveside service for Mr. Teate will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022, in the Ruhamah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Hubert Carter officiating.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. During other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
