Albert Peterson Treece, 68
Okeechobee – Albert Peterson Treece died April 4, 2024. He was born September 16, 1955 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Richard Gordon Treece and Dolores Grace Peterson. A resident of Okeechobee for 22 years, he was a member of VFW Post 10539, Okeechobee and Moose Lodge 2414, Buckhead Ridge, Florida. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, air boating, and diving.
Mr. Treece was preceded in death by his, daughter, Staci Nicole; and brothers, David Treece and Ricky Treece.
He is survived by his spouse of eight years, Alice, of Okeechobee, FL; sons, Justin Treece (Jen), of Tampa, FL and Daniel Treece (Krystina), of Norwalk, CT; stepson, Joseph Godleski (Catherine), of Frankford, DE; stepdaughter, Kelley Davis (Craig), of Columbia, MD; parents, Gordon and Dolores Treece, of Okeechobee, FL; six grandchildren, Corrina Treece, Everett Treece, Makenna Treece, Wyatt Treece; step grandchildren, Courtney Longan and Hannah Godleski; brother, Jeffery Mark Treece (Sarah), Okeechobee, FL; niece, Jessica Williams (Travis); nephew, Jeffrey Treece (Taylor), all of Okeechobee, FL; three grand nephews; and one grandniece.
Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at VFW Post 10539 located at 3912 HWY US 441, Okeechobee, Florida 34974.
