Passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 89. Born September 24, 1932 to John and Mabel Weck in Stanton, Michigan. Albert was one of thirteen children. He worked as a mechanic for Lansing Ice and Fuel. Albert liked working on cars and was known around the neighborhood as the local mechanic. He enjoyed watching Western television shows and listeningto country music. He also liked professional wrestling and going to different wrestling events. Albert loved dogs and owned many in his lifetime. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and gathering for different occasions such as Father's Day. Albert was loved by many and will be missed dearly by those who remember him. Preceding him in death were his daughter, Brenda Weck; brothers, John, David and Robert; sisters, Ann, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Nellie, Mary, and Della, as well as his parents.
Surviving are his children, Lynette (Gene) Sheets, Glenda Ruff, Annette (Charlie) McDaniel, Albert Weck Jr., Stacy Outwater; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Dick (Diane) Weck, Charles E. Weck; sister, Gladys Taylor as well as many extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Skinner Funeral Home Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
