Robert Tingley Obituary

Born on March 15, 1956, in Lansing, Robert was the son of Robert and Eugenia (Hopkins) Tingley. He grew up in Lansing and attended local schools before proudly serving his country in the United States Navy.
Following his military service, Robert built a career as a skilled welder, spending many years with Demer in Lansing. Outside of work, he enjoyed an active life; he was passionate about golf, both playing and watching the game whenever he could, and he also competed in martial arts.
Robert will be remembered for his quick wit, his great sense of humor, and his trademark "grumpy old man" charm that those close to him knew was always given with love.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Denise Cheryl Stadtmiller. Surviving are his brother, Stephen Sedelmaier; nieces, Tabitha (Joshua) Caffee and Jennifer Hatt; and great-nephew, Roman Caffee.

Our dearest friend Robert (aka- Ert, jellyfish, hairball, Culver's, goo-la goo-la). Our family is so very sad, about your unexpected passing. Your laughter, your stubborn ways, your knowledge and quick wit, the harassment you and Ayvah gave each other, the visits to the pool, will be missed. You had a heart of gold and cared about everyone. Your compassion for helping others, will be carried in our hearts. Thank you for coming into our lives, you'll never be forgotten. To his family, I'm sorry for your loss and if you need anything please don't hesitate to contact us.
