On Saturday, January 3, 2026, Albert Wayne Withers entered eternal rest. Albert Wayne Withers was born on June 4, 1943, in Caswell County, North Carolina to the late Lawson and Mamie Withers. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Covenant Community Church. He received his education in the Caswell County Schools. He served in the United States Army SPC5 and attended A&T University. He worked for Detroit and Allison (GM) for many years before retiring.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Withers; his brother, James C. Withers; his brother, Willie M. Withers and niece, Deidre Withers-Smith.
He leaves to cherish in memory his nieces Monica Yvette Withers, Tracie Brothers, Kyonna Henry, and Janell Withers, his nephew, Derek Withers, and other relatives and friends.
