Albert Marcos Yanez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Clovis, California, at the age of 69.
Born on October 2, 1955, in Fresno, California to Connie and Albert Yanez, Albert spent his life rooted in the community he loved. A dedicated and hardworking man, he spent over 30 years in construction and as a skilled sheet metal worker before retiring. His work ethic and craftsmanship left a lasting mark both professionally and personally.
Albert's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cathy Yanez; his children Mark Yanez and wife Karin, Anthony Carrillo and wife Elsa, and Linda Bernal and husband Tommy; and his cherished grandchildren Arianna Carrillo, Alyssa Carrillo, Isis Salinas-Vargas, Emily Salinas-Vargas, Mia Bagdasarian, Erynn Bagdasarian, Logan Bernal, Levi Yanez, and Charlee Yanez.
He also leaves behind his loving sisters Connie Guzman and Delores Sandoval, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends who will deeply miss him.
In retirement, Albert enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-golfing, relaxing at Pismo Beach, and spending time at the Moose Lodge, where he built lasting friendships and shared countless laughs.
A rosary and viewing will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Reade and Sons Funeral Home, 1103 E St, Suite 102. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Mary Claret Church, 2494 S. Chestnut Ave., followed by a graveside service at St. Peter's Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Ave. A repast will follow immediately at the Moose Lodge, 5025 E. Dakota Ave.
Albert's life was filled with love, laughter, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
