Albert C. "Sam" Zane Jr.
Albert C. Zane Jr. "Sam", age 74, of West Deptford passed peacefully Friday, June 14, 2024, at home with family by his side. Albert was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from a career at DuPont as a Chemical Operator. Albert known to most as "Sam" enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, trips to the casino, was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles Fan, and liked to go fishing.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (nee Kelly), also by his children; Sam (Michele) Zane, Kelly (Rob) Schomber, Kristie Leotta, and Dawn (Serge) Medlenov. His grandchildren, Nicholas Zane, Jenna & Dakota Schomber, Alexis & Melanie Leotta, Jacklyn, Samantha & Danielle Medlenov. Also, by his sister; Charlene Haupt and brother; Robert (Sara) Fisher, and Brother-In-Law & Sister-In-Law Earl & Debbie Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Albert C. & Florence Zane, Brother-In-Law Daniel Haupt; Sister-In-Law & Brother-In-Law Joanne & Tom Stone; and his in-laws Jack & Floss Kelly.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm with burial and military honors to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
