Ronald H. Turing

Ronald H. Turing, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026, while under care at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Born and raised in Philadelphia and Woodbury Heights, he graduated from Woodbury High School, Class of 1957, and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Stockton University.

Ronald retired as a Quality Control Inspector in the aviation industry, having worked for the Federal Aviation Administration.

He enjoyed spending his time traveling, especially to Disney World with his family and friends, and was known to enjoy a brownie or two.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maryellen (née Simcox); his children, Ronald Turing Jr. and his wife Dianne, Cynthia Cori and her husband Edward, and Michael S. Turing and his wife Heidi; as well as his six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Edith (née Armstrong) Turing, and his brothers, Charles, Robert, Frank, and Kenneth.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm, with interment at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, New Jersey.
