Anthony John Mastella, age 55, of Mantua, NJ passed on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at home of natural causes. Tony grew up in Mantua and graduated from Clearview High School in 1988. He attended Gloucester County College, Rutgers University, and graduated from Florida SouthWestern State College in 2016 with an associate in science degree, specializing in Respiratory Care.

Tony loved the Florida beaches and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was employed as a respiratory therapist in Florida before returning to his home state of New Jersey, continuing his career at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill, NJ.

Tony is survived by his mother, Judith Lloyd, his best friend, Christine Trielo, his niece, Brittney Mastella and many other friends and relatives in the Gloucester County area.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Marie Hires, and his brother, Andrew Mastella.

Arrangements are private.

Tony was such a great guy. I have known him since high school. Even though he went to our rivaling school . We reconnected when we both worked at Underwood. A piece of my heart will be forever fractured. My heart and prayers and comfort to Judith and family.

tony was a true Clearview football player. he was a good player on some very good teams. my sympathy to his mom. a nice parent. tony played at Clearview when football was really good, he and his brother Andy, cousins Carl and Curtis represented Clearview well. my love to his family
