Thomas Lee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Smith Funeral Home - Mantua on Feb. 10, 2026.
Dr. Thomas G. Lee, age 59, passed away peacefully at his home in Mickleton, NJ, on February 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Tom was a strong and steady presence in the lives of so many. His strength made others feel safe, and he was known for his vivacious spirit, enthusiastic expressions, and big heart. The world simply did not get enough of him.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, to Michael and Marguerite Lee, Tom carried his Philly pride with him throughout his life. He was a devoted fan of the Eagles and all Philadelphia sports teams and was never shy about ending a conversation with a proud "Go Birds." After completing high school, he went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and became widely known as "Dr. Lee" or "Doc" to patients and friends alike.

Tom founded and operated West Deptford Chiropractic, where he built more than a practice. He built relationships. He took the time to truly know his patients, not just treat them, making each person feel heard, cared for, and important. He helped countless people through his care, his knowledge, and his genuine compassion, and he was deeply loved and respected by those he served. His hands were strong, yet gentle in the ways that mattered most.

A man's man in the truest sense, Tom lifted weights most of his life, worked hard, enjoyed working in the yard, and lived actively. He loved spending time in his backyard, going on vacation, enjoying a cold Corona, playing golf, playing the drums, sharing his signature dad jokes, and attending concerts. In his younger years he enjoyed being a DJ (DJ Tom), a stint as a science teacher in Paulsboro, girls basketball coach, and his time with the West Deptford Board of Education.

Above all else, Tom loved his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Angelina T. Lee (née DeSalvo); his daughters, Christina M. Lee and Katherine E. Lee, and their mother Kimberly Lee; his stepchildren, Brady and Reese Weston; his mother, Marguerite Lee (née Ronneburger); his brother, Michael J. Lee (Nikki); his sister, Mary Ann Lee; his beloved dog, Dexter; and his niece and nephews, Meghan, Aden, and Matthew, along with many extended family members, friends, and patients whose lives he touched in countless ways.

He was predeceased by his father, Michael D. Lee.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at Infant Jesus Parish, at St. Margaret's Church, 845 Third St., Woodbury Heights, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to the Dominican Sisters of Hope, in care of his Aunt Maryann Ronneburger, by mail to 299 North Highland Ave, Ossining, NY 10562-2327 or online by clicking here.
