Alberta McAlpine, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at the age of 88 in
Norwood, MA. Born on May 30, 1937, in
Boston, MA, she was the loving daughter of Daniel and Mary O'Leary.
Alberta's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, dedication, and community service. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald McAlpine, with whom she shared a profound and enduring love. Together, they built a life filled with joy and purpose, creating a warm home that was a cornerstone of happiness for their family and friends.
As a mother, Alberta was unparalleled. She is survived by her son, Thomas McAlpine, and his wife Carrie. Her guidance and wisdom were the guiding lights of their lives, and the values she instilled in them remain a testament to her character. The joy of Alberta's life was further multiplied by her adoration for her grandchildren, Amanda and Ava McAlpine, whom she loved spending time with and who brought her immeasurable happiness.

Funeral Service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday April 4th at 11:00 am. Visiting hours prior to the service Saturday morning April 4th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Canton Corner Cemetery.
