Alberta Skipper Obituary
A visitation will be held at Solid Rock Baptist Church on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the memorial service.
She was a resident of St. Martinville, LA who transitioned at 2:42 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church who loved the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Leroy Junior Skipper, Sr. of St. Martinville, LA; two sons: Demarcus J. Anthony (Cecilia) of Goose Greek, SC and Deon M. Anthony (Kiera) of Broussard, LA; two daughters: De'Borah N. Walker of Crowley, TX and Denalda A. Anthony of New Iberia, LA; three bonus children: Leroy Junior Skipper, Jr., Keenan Skipper, and Sean Skipper; five brothers: Morris Evans, Jr., Michael Evans, Sr. (Amanda), James Evans, Sr. (Loretta), Albert Alexander, and Alfred Evans (Carol) all of New Iberia, LA; four sisters: Pansy A. Woods, Catherine Lopez (Robert), Carolyn Foxworth (Brian), and Mary Grayson all of New Iberia, LA; ten grandchildren; three godchildren: Lorenzo Davis, Tamyra Bashay, and Luv Touchet; a special nephew: Leo L. Loston, III and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert James and Elva Mae Alexander Evans and two sisters: Rev. Beulah Evans and Carol Evans.
