Alberto was born in San Angelo Tx to Elliott and Esmi Barrera. He lived a life full of love, kindness, and was full of charisma. Albert was a proud graduate of Ozona High School, and was truly an Ozona Lion. Albert loved Lion baseball and football and would always cheer on his home team. Albert also loved hanging out with family and friends, and lighting up his bbq pit. He always had a smile that would light up a room. Albert will be dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his parents Elliott and Esmi Barrera. Brothers Elliott and wife Michelle, Mario and wife Stephanie, sisters April and husband Jerry, Sandra, and Becky. He had many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
The family would like to extend there most sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff members at the ICU unit at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo for their best care and compassion for Albert.

Visitation will take place at Preddy Funeral Home in Ozona TX on Wednesday October 1, 2025 starting at 5pm- 9pm with the recital of the Most Holy Rosary at 7pm.
