With heavy hearts yet boundless love, we share that Angel Hernandez Cruz, age 52, was gently called home to the Lord on August 30, 2025. Angel, a radiant soul with a heart overflowing with kindness, touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit. His legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories will forever live on in those who knew him.

Born on September 26, 1972, in Cd. Acuña, Mexico, to his beloved parents, Timoteo and Guadalupe Hernandez, Angel was a devoted son whose love for his family was boundless. As a brother, uncle, and friend, he wove a tapestry of joy and connection, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. Angel's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly, as he proudly built his own business at a young age, a testament to his tireless work ethic and determination. A passionate fan of the Cowboys and Spurs, he found delight in live music and treasured moments spent laughing and sharing stories with his family and friends.

Angel is lovingly remembered by his dear mother, Guadalupe Hernandez; his siblings, Carlos (and his wife, Miriam), Estela Hernandez DeHoyos (and her husband, Dennis DeHoyos), Alonzo Hernandez, and Luis Hernandez; and a wide circle of family and friends who will carry his light in their hearts forever.

A viewing to honor Angel's beautiful life will be held at Preddy Funeral Home, 502 9th Street, Ozona, Texas 76943 (P: 325-392-5201), where we invite you to join us in celebrating his memory. A memorial service, filled with love and gratitude for his life, will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1715 Martinez Street, Ozona, Texas 76943, on September 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, we will gather for a heartfelt luncheon at the hall across from the church, sharing stories and embracing the love Angel so freely gave.

Let us hold Angel's memory close, wrapped in the warmth of his compassion and the joy he brought to us all.
