Alberto Rendon, 93, passed July 7, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois. Alberto was born on August 8, 1929, in La Puerta del Refugio, San Potosi, México, to parents
Lazara Castillo and Santiago Rendon. Alberto is survived by his children Santiago Rendon, Sara Rendon Bukovatz, Fernando Rendon, Efrain Rendon, Alberto Rendon Jr.; his sisters Catalina Rendon Tinajero, Alejandrina Rendon Guerrero, his brothers Luis Rendon, Eduardo Rendon; his grandchildren Alberto Rendon III, David Rendon, Jessica Kistler, Gabrielle
D. Rendon, Adriana M. Rendon, Fernando C. Rendon, and Julia T. Bukovatz; daughters-in-law Florentina Ramos Rendon and Ramona Torres Rendon; son-in-law Michael Bukovatz; his six great grandchildren Sonia D. Rendon, Luciano A. Rendon, Anthony E. Rendon, Damian M. Gomez, Teagan Kistler, and Tanner Kistler; and his niece Tara Duque.
He married his love, Teresa Duque, on January 5, 1958, at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. His son Santiago and daughter Sara were born in Texas. Alberto, Teresa, and their two first born children moved to Chicago in 1961. After settling in their new home, they had three more sons, Fernando, Efrain, and Alberto Jr.
While settling in Chicago, Alberto worked hard to provide for his growing family and for his future grandchildren.
Alberto loved gardening, being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, having his morning coffee and conchas, being in a house full of laughter and smiles, and being surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, always thinking of others first. He will forever be loved and missed.

Se casó con su amor, Teresa Duque, el 5 de Enero de 1958, en la iglesia Sta. Cecelia en Los Fresnos. Su hijo Santiago y su hija Sara nacieron en Texas. Alberto, Teresa y sus dos hijos primogénitos se mudaron a Chicago en 1961. Después de establecerse en su nuevo hogar, tuvieron tres hijos más, Fernando, Efraín y Alberto Jr.
Mientras se establecía en Chicago, Alberto trabajó duro para mantener a su creciente familia y a sus futuros nietos.
Alberto amaba la jardinería, estar con sus nietos y bisnietos, le gustaba su café con pan dulce por la mañana, estar en una casa llena de risas y sonrisas, y estar rodeado de familia y amigos. Él era una persona alegre, amorosa y cariñoso, esposo devoto, padre, abuelo y amigo, siempre pensando en los demás primero. Él siempre será amado y extrañado.
