Publish in a newspaper

Albino Reyna was born on March 30, 1932, to Fidel and Julia (Gamez) Reyna in Matehuala San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Albino's life was marked by dedication, love, and a deep commitment to family and community.

Albino found his calling at Chrysler Motor Company, where he dedicated over 40 years of his life as a Machine Operator. As a proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW), he exemplified hard work and integrity, qualities he faithfully passed on to his ten children, whom he loved dearly.

A passionate man of tradition, Albino was deeply connected to his roots and enjoyed Mexican music, which resonated with his cultural identity. He was also an active member of his church community, serving as an Usher for many years, always lending a helping hand and sharing his warm spirit.

Known for his friendly fist bumps and infectious smile, Albino's greatest joy was his family. His unwavering love and dedication made him a pillar of support to all who knew him.

Albino Reyna, aged 93, passed away peacefully at his home on September 1, 2025. His passing was preceded by that of his loving wife: Marlene Reyna; and two sons: Antonio and David Reyna.

He is survived by his children: Miguel (Patricia) Reyna, Esteban (Susan) Reyna, Andres (Darlene) Reyna, Anita (Keith) Bailey, Daniel (Antonette) Reyna, Julia Baker, Robert (Tammy) Reyna and Linda Copeland. He also leaves 35 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 3-9pm at Kernan Funeral Home; 1020 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146, (313) 381-2345 and on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 12-9pm also at the funeral home. A mass of the resurrection will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 10am at St. Andre Bessette Parish; 4250 W Jefferson Ave, Ecorse, MI 48229. Procession to Michigan Memorial Park for burial will immediately follow services.

Albino Reyna's legacy of hard work, faith, and family will forever live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for the remarkable man he was.
