Alden Henry Gray

Alden Gray 97 passed away peacefully at his home in Wetmore, CO on April 25, 2024
Alden was one of five children born to Dama and Francis Gray in Cortland, Illinois. He later moved to Model, Colorado with his wife Betty and eventually moved to Wetmore in 1953. He and Betty were married 63 years until her passing. Alden worked many different jobs from a butcher for Safeway to construction to Portland Cement Plant where he retired in 1987. Alden was an avid hunter and fisherman for most of his life with many wild adventures. He was involved in the community serving on various boards for many years. He was happiest when he had a job to complete for either himself or others and if he did not have one, he would buy one.
Alden is survived by his children Loel (Dianna) Gray, grandson Paul (Lisa), granddaughter Amy (Justin) Boles, great grandson Jaden (Taylor) Boles, great granddaughter Jiliyn Boles, Julie (Duane) Fall, grandson Bryce Fall, grandson Riley(Ali) Fall, great granddaughters Paisley and Addley, great grandson Ryder. His parents, four siblings, wife Betty, daughter Cheryl precede him in death.
