Aldwyn Ian Kyte was born on September 13, 1981, to Velma and Lloyd Kyte in Orlando, FL. He was born and reared in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where his journey with faith and community began. As a young Pathfinder, he discovered his love for camping and the outdoors, learning skills and building friendships that shaped who he became. The love for nature never left him; even as an adult, he found joy in camping trips with friends, where laughter, stories, and the peaceful beauty of the outdoors brought him a sense of connection and happiness that he cherished.
Aldwyn was a man known for his big heart, quiet strength, and unwavering loyalty. An avid fisherman, Aldwyn found joy on the water, especially after fulfilling his dream of owning his own boata source of pride he often shared with his friends. Described by many as a "stand-up guy," his loyalty was unmatched. He opened his home and his heart to friends, offering a place to stay, a meal, or simply a listening ear. Whether it was a late-night call for help or a simple gesture of kindness, you could count on himno matter the day or the hour.
If you knew Aldwyn, you knew he loved Cadillacs. Over the years, he owned many, and at times, his yard looked like a Cadillac showroom. Alongside his love for the Orlando Magic, his pride in those cars was a reflection of the joy he found in the things he loved. Like his parents, Aldwyn also found great joy in antiquing and had a keen eye for unique and timeless pieces.
Although a quiet man by nature, Aldwyn was never afraid to use his voice when it mattered. He always spoke out when he felt something wasnt right. He was the kind of friend who would hold you accountable, encouraging those around him to do better. His friends remember him as respectful, humble, and full of life.
Above all, Aldwyn deeply loved his son, Jameer. Nothing made him prouder than sharing time on the water with Jameer, passing down his love of fishing and beaming with pride when his son made a good catch. He often bragged about Jameers natural talent and cherished those moments they spent together. In quieter conversations, Aldwyn spoke openly about wishing he had been an even better father and spent more time with his son a reflection of his big heart and deep desire to give Jameer the very best of himself. Their bond was one of his greatest joys in life, and his love for Jameer will continue to shine through the memories they created together.
Aldwyn passed away at his parents home in Seminole County, Florida, on Monday, April 28, 2025.
