Alejandro Rene Rodriguez, age 28, passed away on December 16, 2023.
While it's tragic to think about Alex leaving us too soon, he left behind a lifetime of memories full of joy, laughter, and spontaneity. He touched many hearts in so many ways. Alex was born in El Paso, Texas where he attended and graduated from Eastwood High School class of 2013. He was open to any situation from working with kids as a gymnastics coach to taking care of disabled adults. At FedEx he cherished his work, co-workers, and bosses. He was the life of the party and always down for a good time. Upon meeting, we all felt his contagious passion, pure/genuine love & energy, that we will continue to cherish today and always.
His departure has left an irreplaceable void, yet his spirit, his laughter, and his memories will continue to surround us.
He is survived by his forever partner/girlfriend Alyssa Ortega, brother Daniel, and sisters Victoria, Valerie, and Breanna. His mother Mary Grace (Victor Mascorro, Jr.). His father Daniel Rodriguez (Lavonna). His grandparents Margarita and Federico Sanchez Jr., Hector Rodriguez. Uncles Fred Sanchez (Gloria), Hector Rodriguez (Araceli), Aunt Sandra Estrada (Fernando). Cousins Vanessa, Nathaniel, Emily, Michael, Gabriella, America, Matthew, and Cris.
Preceded in death by his grandmother Carlotta Rodriguez, cousin Hector Jr. and brother Ryan.
Viewing will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 5pm – 8pm at Legacy Funeral Home 1374 N Arizona Avenue Chandler, AZ 85225. Cremation to follow.
