Alene Harrison Obituary

Alene A. Harrison, born March 12, 1939, passed away on Thursday April 20, 2023. Alene was born to the late Vernon and Opal Abrams in McKee, Kentucky. She was a proud charter member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church where she served by teaching children's Sunday School and working in the church library. Alene retired from IBM after 25 years of service. She is survived by one son, Ted (Leesa) Harrison; a granddaughter, Sarah (Brent) Honaker; as well as many friends and loved ones. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 24th, 2023 at Cornerstone Baptist Church 4451 Winchester Road, Lexington, KY from 5pm-8pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10AM until time of service. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 25th, 2023 at the church at 11AM with burial to follow at Lexington Cemetery. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Main Street are assisting with services.
