Please join the Helm Family for a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Levi First Missionary Baptist Church, 5125 Church Drive, Rand, WV 25306, with visitation beginning one hour prior. You may send condolences to the family at www.barlowbonsall.com. Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Aletha was not only my friend, my sister, classmate every close name you can call. I loved her dearly. Been to her home on several occasions, close to her sisters Terri and Jackie, know her brother Johnny, her Mom and a few other relatives. We attended Marshall together sang in A Choir together, her laughter, her sweet voice, the way she cared can never be replaced but will always be remembered. We had a little group while at Marshall called the Family. Brian Ward was Dad Aletha was mom and Ray Crisp, Michael Bailey and myself were their kids. I used to jokingly call her Mom. She would sometimes put me on punishment..lol I will definitely miss her but never stop loving her.
