Aletia started working for the former Jackson Nursing Home - Miller's Merry Manor or she became the supervisor of housekeeping. She retired after 37 years of faithful service. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. She spent any free time that she had crocheting. She also loved to occupy her mind doing puzzles and games especially on her phone. Aletia loved her family of origin and her family of creation. Her children and grandchildren made a wonderful life.
Those left behind are two daughters, Linda (Paul) Foreman, and their sons Derek Heuer and Treylen (Caitlynn) Foreman; a daughter; Misty Bullock and her children Cianna (Benjamin) Marriott, Skyler and Sian Bullock; a son; William Sweet Jr. and his daughters Shelby and Jordianna Sweet; A granddaughter. Ashley (Michael) Keesling. Also missing her are her great grandchildren Rodney and Madalynn Marriott, Grayson Foreman, and two foster great grandkids.
Aletia was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her beautiful daughter Tracy Sweet Jones, son-in-law Luke Bullock, and her siblings, Punky, Donnie, Faye, Jerry, Linda, Danny & Buddy.
A Celebration of Life will be 1 PM on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2024 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville, IN with Pastor Jeff Edwards offering words of comfort and faith. Friends may visit at 11AM. She will laid to rest next to her husband and daughter at Rushvilles East Hill Cemetery.
