Alex Jordan Courtois, born on August 26, 1992, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, passed away at the young age of 33 on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was a beloved son of the late Albert Francis Courtois Jr. and Lena Marie (Boyer) Bollinger.
Throughout his life, Alex was known for his love of sports. He enjoyed watching football and basketball, particularly rooting for the Indian Colts and Louisville Cardinals. In his free time, he found joy in fishing and spent many moments exploring the outdoors and woods with his brothers during his childhood in the country.
Alex cherished spending time with his family. He is survived by his stepfather, Kenny Bollinger. He also leaves behind two brothers, James Courtois (fiancée, Sandy Goad) and Sean (Amanda) Courtois, as well as three nephews: Colton, Owen, and Lincoln Courtois. Additionally, Alex is remembered by his step-siblings, Crystal (Angela) Bollinger, Brandon Bollinger, Bradley Bollinger, and Kaylee Bollinger, along with step-grandparents Gary and Norma Faye Henson. He will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Alex's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as he brought joy to many through his passion for sports and his devotion to family. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
