Brian Lee Masson, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the age of 64. He was born on March 29, 1961, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late Robert "Bob" Masson and Loretta (Greenlee) Masson. Brian grew up in Leadwood, where he attended school.

At a young age, Brian traveled and worked with the carnival for many years. Later in life, he held various job roles until he was ultimately employed with Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), where he dedicated approximately 15 years before retirement. Following his retirement, he continued to serve the community as a bail bondsman for A-1 Bail Bonds Services.

Brian was proud of his service as a volunteer fireman for the Bismarck Fire Department, contributing to the safety and well-being of those around him for approximately ten years. His dedication to family values and community service remained a constant throughout his life.

Passionate about spending time with his loved ones, Brian found joy in hunting with his son, Jonathon, fishing, and listening to classic rock music. He cherished every moment attending events for his grandchildren, and enjoyed daily conversations with family members on the phone. Brian shared a unique love for history with his granddaughter, Hope, which further strengthened their bond. He was an avid television viewer of shows like "Big Foot" and had a keen appreciation for firearms, often sparking discussions.

Brian is survived by his two children, Brianna Masson and her fiancé, Tony Russell, and Jonathon Masson. He is also remembered fondly by his two grandchildren, Faith and Hope Russell; his siblings, Robert "Bud" Masson (wife, Donna) and Trina Masson; and his stepchildren: Bobbie Fisher (wife, Tonya), Michelle Ragsdale (husband, Michael), LaDonna Restivo (husband, Peter), Kimberly Fisher (fiancé, Mart McEntire), and Amanda Randazzo (husband, Michael). Additionally, Brian leaves behind many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, as well as dear friends including Tammy Masson and her fiancé, Jeff Williams, Ken Nickles, and Jeff McClintock, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Masson; sister, Jackie (Masson) Crump Wilcox; nephew, Robbie Crump; and other cherished family members.

A visitation will be held in his honor at DeClue Family Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 6:30 PM.
