HOLDEN - Robert R. Masson, 81, of Holden, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026.
Bob was born to Maurice and Frances Masson in Lowell, on December 14, 1944. He attended Keith Academy in Lowell, where he was a star baseball player. He met Lorraine, the love of his life, in high school and they were married in 1967. He lived the majority of his adult life in Littleton, where they raised their family. Before retiring, Bob worked for many years as a Production Manager at Hyletronics. He enjoyed playing softball, raising pigeons, gardening, woodworking, fishing, boating, and of course, spending time with his family.
Bob leaves behind his wife Lorraine to whom he was happily married for 58 years, his daughter Christina Soderman and her husband Russell of Holden, his daughter Maureen Ehwa and her husband Freddie of North Leominster, and his son Matthew Masson and his life partner Meg of Waterbury, VT. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren whom he adored; Taylor (and her partner Joe), Hannah, Carl, Ava and Curt.
He is pre-deceased by his beloved boxer, Rocky.
In lieu of a formal funeral service, a private family celebration of life will held in his honor.
Arrangements are being handled by Miles Funeral Home in Holden.
