(1948-2025) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alex Kelly, Jr., who transitioned this life on March 1, 2025. Alex Kelly, Jr., was born in Jefferson County, Florida of the late Ruth and Alex Kelly, Sr. Alex Kelly Jr. was a native of Tallahassee who graduated from "Old" Lincoln High School Class of 1967, and later attended Tallahassee Junior College. He had a real fondness of art and dance.
Alex Kelly, Jr. will be missed and his memories cherished by his children, Seanna Chukes and Kim Neal; sisters Bernice Roberts of Philadelphia, PA., Ella Frederick, Bettye Parker and Gwendolyn Kelly all of Tallahassee, as well as brothers John Kelly (Jeanette) of Hollywood, Florida and Eric Kelly, Tallahassee and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Alex Kelly, Jr. was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Ruth and Alex Kelly, brothers Floyd, Walter, Bobby and Willie David Kelly of Tallahassee and sister Mattie Holsey (Orlando, Florida.
Memorial service will be 2 P.M. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Strong & Jones Chapel. Send flowers to the service of Alex Kelly Jr.
