Alex Kloepfer, age 37, of Marion, IL, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at his home.
He was born on February 10, 1988 in Sarasota, FL to David and Rosemary (Tinault) Kloepfer.
Alex was raised Catholic and had a loving, caring, and generous soul. He was passionate about helping others even doing without so he could help someone. Alex loved motorcycles and cars and loved to work on engines. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and being with his family.
Survivors include his grandmother, Janet Kloepfer of Grants Pass, OR; sister, Robin (Joshua) Carter of Marion, IL; nephew, Jaden Carter of Marion, IL; aunts and uncles, Bill Tinault, Marion Tinault, and Pam and Rick Vischer; several cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Kloepfer; maternal grandparents, John Henry "Jack" Tinault and Marion LaVerne Tinault; father, David Kloepfer; mother, Rosemary Tinault; and several aunts, and uncles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL.
In accordance with Alex's wishes, no public services will be held at this time.
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to a college scholarship fund that will be established for his nephew, Jaden. Checks may be made payable to "Robin Carter." Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be mailed c/o Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion, IL 62959.
