Alexander Grant Bowen

ALEX GRANT BOWEN, 41, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Born in South Korea, Alex grew up in Kentucky and graduated from South Oldham High School. He was an avid guitar player with a deep love for Guns N' Roses, and he brought that same passion and energy into every part of his life.
Alex worked at Jeffersontown Public Works, where he was known as an exemplary employee who always went above and beyond. He volunteered for every extra event the city held and took great pride in serving his community. His coworkers were more than colleagues-they were a brotherhood. Alex brought joy and laughter to the department, often creating videos that showcased the camaraderie and humor of the crews he worked alongside.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Brooke Bowen; his two nephews; and countless friends within his community and at Jeffersontown Public Works.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Tway House 10235 Timberwood Cir, Louisville, KY 40223.
