Alexander Wayne Branson age 22, of Bland, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2023 at his home.
He was born on December 3, 2001, in Washington, MO, a son to Jason Branson and the late Kristen Birmingham.
Alex attended the B.W. State school in Rolla and received his high school degree from Maries RII.
Although born with Cerebral Pasley, and could not communicate verbally, that did not stop Alex from communicating through blinking and facial expressions. He loved for people to talk to him, had a great loud laugh when he would get tickled, and could be a bit ornery at times. He enjoyed watching Elmo and Bluey on tv, watching the animals out his window, and toys that lit up or made noises. Alex will be missed greatly by his family and those that knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, Alex is survived by: his grandmother, Kathleen Wright of Bland; three brothers, Chase Branson of Bland, Landon Branson of Belle, and Sean Bloom of Bland; one uncle, Scott Birmingham and one aunt, Stacy Birmingham as well as many cousins and extended family members.
Alex was preceded in death by his mother Kristen, a uncle Eric Birmingham, and his grandpa Earl M. Bratton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced by Sassmann’s Chapel.
