Nancy Jo Branson, 87, of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center following a short illness. She was born on April 14, 1938, in Scottsdale, Arizona to the late Joseph Glenn and Hazel Curtis Riley. She was a homemaker, loved to play bridge, and loved being a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, H. Dean Branson of Valdosta; her daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Walter Peacock of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Cameron Thomson, Georgia Dean Thomson, Riley Ball, and Graham (Caitlin) Ball; step-children, Ken Branson and Kathy Branson; her step-grandchildren, Spencer Brown and Paige Perks; great grandchildren, Ava French and Jack Ball; brothers, Tim Riley, David Riley, Wayne Riley, Dennis Riley, and Billy Board. She was preceded by her daughters, Jenny Haverland and Cindy Ball, brother Sonny Riley and sister, Patricia Spidell.
