Alexander Kment Obituary
Alex was raised in Glendale, MO, and graduated from Kirkwood High School. He went on to attend SIU Carbondale.
Alex served in the United States Army Infantry. His work at both Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery and Mound City National Cemetery was a great source of pride in his life, next to only his family.
He went on to marry the love of his life, Tracy Kment, who preceded him in death on February 25th, 2011.
He did not have children, but his presence was instrumental in the lives of his nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He reveled in family, nature, and found joy in the smallest of things.
He is survived by his father, sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria (Lillina) Kment (Pupin), and his brother, Dominic (Domenico) Kment.
A memorial service is being held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Friday, September 8th at 1:30 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please contact [email protected] for further details.
