Alexander Joseph Taylor
January 16, 1990 - April 25, 2025
Port St. Lucie, Florida
Alexander Joseph Taylor, 35, of Port St. Lucie, passed away on April 25, 2025. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina, and lived a life marked by deep empathy, fierce intellect, and an unwavering heart for those the world often overlooks.
Alexander felt the weight of others' pain in ways few could understand. He cared deeply for the vulnerable - those without shelter, without safety, without someone to speak for them. His compassion extended to the edges of society, and he offered what he could: a voice, a gesture, a moment of real connection.
He is survived by his father, Kent Taylor; his sister, Lauren Taylor; and his beloved daughter, Serafina Rose Taylor, who carries forward his heart and spirit.
Alexander's life was not easy, and his struggles were real. But through it all, he remained someone who wanted to heal the world - even as he was still trying to heal himself.
Monday, May 5, 2025, a memorial service will be held at St. James the Apostle, located at 2201 SE Airoso Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. The viewing will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, acts of kindness toward someone in need - a warm meal, a generous word, or a moment of listening - are encouraged in his memory.
He was loved. He will be missed. And he mattered.
