Alexandra "Sandi" Amalia Santamaria, 35, of Norwalk, CT passed away on May 5, 2025 at her home in Torrington, CT. Alexandra was born in Norwalk, CT on October 25, 1989 and was the daughter of Alejandro and Marta Santamaria. She was her mother's daughter, strong, courageous and a warrior. She also picked up the love of building and taking things apart from her father Alejandro. Who she watched and helped with remodeling their childhood home.
Alexandra was known for her kind vibrant spirit and contagious smile. She was funny and witty and can always make you laugh. She loved deeply and was devoted to her loved ones. She was indeed a true Scorpio and would do anything for her family and friends. She always knew how to uplift peoples spirits with her positive outlook on life. Alexandra loved children and was an amazing Auntie not only to her nieces and nephew but to all the children in her life. You know that saying it takes a village to raise a child. You can be sure of it that she was the mayor of that village.
Alexandra loved reading a good book, spending time with her cat Trixie, cooking, the Gilmore Girls and eating yummy baleadas.
She will be very much missed. Alexandra was a beloved mother, girlfriend, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She is survived not only by her parents but by her boyfriend Domingo, sister Aracely, brother Alejandro, nieces Amia and Elena, nephew Joel and grandfather Guillermo.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Monday May 12, 2025 from 10:00 am till 12:30 pm at the Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk.
