Alexandra Velasquez was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 25, 2023, at the age of 19. She was born on April 8, 2003 to Melissa (Gonzales) Catterton and Margarito Richard Velasquez.
Alexandra loved to spend time with her son. She also enjoyed hanging out with her friends and family, camping, fishing, going on hikes to appreciate nature's beauty, and shopping with her siblings. She worked as an intake specialist at a major law firm in Colorado and was going to school to become a medical assistant.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Leo Velasquez; and her aunt, Cindy Rabago.
Alexandra is survived by her son, Alijah Velasquez; parents, Melissa (Gonzales) Catterton and Margarito Richard Velasquez; step-mother, Julie Velasquez; sisters, Desirae and Angelina Velasquez; brother, Zachariah Velasquez; step-siblings, Geraldine, Alexzandra, and Joe Romero; grandparents, Isabel and Joe Romero, Anita Velasquez, and Ray and Denise Gonzales; nephew, Alexandro Chavez; nieces, Aria and Sophia Chavez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Service, 12:30PM, Monday, March 13, 2023, Calvary Worship Center, 501 Castle Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904.
