Alexis "Lexie" Elizabeth Wise, 16, of Bessemer AL, passed away Tuesday, November 12th 2024 in Birmingham AL as a victim of gun violence. She was born May 12th of 2008, in Bessemer, Alabama. Lexie was always such a cheerful person who would go out of her way to make you laugh, even in depressing situations. Lexie always saw the good in people, and loved to be a goofball. She loved to make people laugh. Lexie loved dogs, particularly pit bulls. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, working on cars, and living life to the fullest. Lexie was passionate, strong minded, and cheerful. As a child, Lexie loved riding horses, driving go carts, and being outside in general. Lexie has always been adventurous. Lexie had so many goals in life and she was so close to achieving those goals. She's always had her heart set on who she wanted to be and what she's wanted out of life. More than anything, she loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Lexie always wanted to get a house and have all her friends living with her, a pit bull and Josh, whom she loved with every fiber of her being. Lexie and Josh truly had so much love for each other. She is survived by her mother, Ashley Wise (Webb); her older sister, Zoey Wise; half sister, Danielle Lane (Wise); her best friend, Savannah Smith; and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carol Jean Wise, Arthur Earle Wise, Delores Carol, and Kenneth Webb. Lexie is so loved and cherished and will forever live on in our memories and in our hearts.
