Alfonso Robert "Poncho" Lopez

Our Father was born in Los Angeles County on January 10th, 1935. He grew up in the City of San Fernando. He met his wife in the town of Chatsworth and were married on June 27th, 1955. They were married for 70 years.

He was a hardworking man who owned his own construction business specializing in concrete work. He was well liked in the community and well known for the quality of his work. He loved his grandchildren very much. He enjoyed spending time with them, as well as spoiling them.

On Friday August 29th, 2025. At the age of 90, our dad departed and went to be with his lord. He was surrounded by his family, who loved him very much. We will all miss our dad and grandfather very much, as he left a strong and memorable impression on each and every one of us. His legacy will continue to live through us.

He was survived by his wife, Jenny Lopez, his four children, daughter Bobbie and three sons. Benny, Al Jr, and Arthur. His In-laws Pete, Alice and Cindi. Six Grandchildren, Al III, Raymond, John, Wesley, Angela, and Amanda. His In-laws Daena, Savannah, Rachael, Alex, Daniella, and Sergio. Eight great grandchildren, Destiny, Ayden, Liliana, Jesse, Fritz, Ruby, Viviana, Angelina, and Sebastian.
