Alfred "Lewis" Brumfield Jr., 55, a resident of St Francisville, LA unexpectedly passed away in his home on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Lewis, "Big Lew", "pawpaw", was an amazing, loving father, an adoring grandfather and a dedicated husband. He loved good movies, great music and SEC Football. Lewis enjoyed fishing on the creek and watching Saints games with his wife, Renee, of 36 years. Pawpaw Lewis loved his grandbabies with everything he had and spoiled them rotten. Lewis lived in West Feliciana Parish with his wife and daughter, Kayla, his best friend. He was adored by his three grandsons, Troy, Hunter and Parker. He made several great friends through his career as an operator for eighteen years at Tembec paper mill and eighteen years at BP-Castrol. Visitation will be at the Parish Activity Center, 3824 Lee Street, Zachary, LA 70791 on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Eastern Star Cemetery, Wilson, LA. He is survived by his wife and true love of 36 years, Renee Ivey Brumfield , his only daughter, Kayla Brumfield and Ryan Flint, his four grandkids, Troy, Hunter, Parker and Raelynn, his mother, Vivian Dixon Worsham, his five sisters, Melissa Roark and Lance, Angie Malbrough, Kristie Sagely and Kyle, Amanda Brumfield, Brenda Russell and Shane and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Alfred Lewis Brumfield Sr., and grandparents, aunts, uncles and extended family. Pallbearers will be Lance Roark, Jacob Roark, Ryan Flint, Mitchell Talley, Troy Talley, Ryan Ivey and honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Ivey and Dylan Roark.
