Alfred V. Rudzinski Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the age of 62.
Alfred was the beloved son to Alfred Sr. and Joan Rudzinski. He is survived by his loving siblings James F. Rudzinski (Joann) and Joan Rudzinski, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Alfie worked his whole life on the Waterfront as a line runner. The only thing he loves more than his River was his family and friends. Nothing would keep him from getting somewhere to wish you happy birthday, welcome a new baby, a football game or dance recital, or to share the holidays or just spend the weekend. We will never know anyone with more unconditional love for us. Alfie was a giver. He never said no or that he "couldn't make it". There was no obstacle too big to keep him from us.
His nieces and nephews meant the world to him. For a man with no children of his own, he did an amazing job taking care of every one of them, teaching them in his gentle way or just a funny story. Though we have a lifetime of memories, Uncle Alfie will make no more. No more "one liners" to make us laugh. All we have now is a love for him to the core of our souls. We will miss you forever. We will love you forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6:30 PM until a time of sharing at 7:30 PM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. His interment will be handled privately.
In lieu of sending flowers, please be a kind human and pay it forward in Alfie's honor.
