Alfred John Salvino January 31, 1939 – August 3, 2025 Alfred John Salvino, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and respected leader in the financial services industry, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025. A proud U.S. Army veteran and graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he also wrestled, Al brought grit, heart, and humility to all aspects of life. He was a devoted husband to his wife Carole, his partner of 61 years; a loving and engaged father to four children; and a proud grandfather to fifteen. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren grow, learn, and compete in sports including football, hockey, gymnastics, lacrosse, rowing, rugby, soccer, softball-and most passionately, wrestling. Al cherished the simple things: time with Carole in their garden, family gatherings, quiet conversations, and trips to his beloved Marco Island. He was a man of deep faith, unwavering principles, and a lifelong commitment to serving those around him. He often said success meant treating everyone with respect and giving 110% effort every day. The son of Italian immigrants, Al lived a life defined by integrity, perseverance, hard work, and vision. Over a remarkable 60-year career in financial services, he built a legacy rooted in excellence, compassion, and caring for others. He founded a firm independent of legacy Wall Street-one grounded in relationships, where every client was treated like family. Al is survived by his wife, Carole, and their children: Ann O'Brien (Mike), Tom Salvino (Tracy), Mike Salvino (Peggy), and John Salvino (Deborah). He is also survived by his fifteen adored grandchildren: Grace Dauch (Luke), Andrew, Sara, Michael, Alex, Kaitlyn, Brian, Isabella, Caroline, Molly, Joe, Jake, Lauren, Margot, and Greta. He will be remembered for his fierce love of family, unwavering integrity, and the legacy he leaves behind in both his personal and professional life.
