Alice Althea Brazdon 89, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Wednesday January 14, 2026, in Conway, SC at her daughter's residences.

Alice Althea Brazdon was born on May 19, 1936, in Vineland, NJ to the late Ernst August Haars and Elsie Verna Langley Haars. Alice is also preceded in death by her two brothers Ernst Haars and Gilbert Haars (Dot); Son in-law Norman Bennett; Late Husband Herbert 'Herbie" Newmaster; Brother in-law Thomas Box and her beloved furry companion Princess.

Left to cherish Alice's memory are her daughter Debra Bennett of Conway, SC; Grandchildren Jay Alan Bennett and Michelle Bennett of South Carolina; Great grandchildren Kayla, Trista, Lance Lamkin of Vineland, NJ and Jayden Bennett of North Carolina; Sister Faye Box of Texas; Christopher Lamkin of Vineland, NJ; Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Alice is truly going to be missed by her family and friends.

Alice worked as a dietitian for many years in a nursing facility, as well as being a substitute teacher at Lakeside Middle School in Millville, NJ. Alice was an active member of her community's church and the local senior center. Alice enjoyed playing cards and referred to herself as a wine connoisseur. She loved spending time with her family and her many friends at the senior center. Alice loved to be outdoors, she enjoyed doing her yard work. In Alice's down time you could find her reading her scripture for her bible. Alice will be remembered for her bright laughter and smile, her dedication to helping others, and for her strong faith in the lord. On Alice's birthday, her favorite saying was "I'm 39 like Jack Benny". So now she will be forever "39, like Jack Benny".

Services will be held in New Jersey, check back once family updates day and time.
